In a world full of designers, it can be difficult to stand out. So much so, it often feels like you are shouting into a void— just waiting for someone to notice and recognize potential. This underlying concept and his desire to design a long lasting brand is what drove Jaden in this particular aesthetic direction for his personal branding.

For module III during Junior Year at Cornish College of the Arts, students were asked to create a personal brand in five weeks. Over the course of the five weeks we created a refined logo, stationery, branding guidelines and a portfolio website.

A simplistic branding system that highlights Jaden's portfolio and focuses on texture to create tone and interest.

Color +
Type.
Black and white color scheme with a variety of accent colors.
Roboto Slab is the display font. Avenir Next is used for all body copy text and occasionally for display, when appropriate.
Texture.
Sumi ink and soapy water were alternately dipped in a metal tray filled with tap water to create this marbling effect on cold-pressed watercolor paper.
Scanned at 1200dpi and edited to create beautiful texture to accompany the branding.
